How Apollo3D turns an empty building into a digital twin
“Hey Shep… if I send you a photo of an empty building and maybe a rough floor plan, can you turn it into a 3D virtual tour?”
Absolutely.
At Apollo3D we can take something as simple as a few photos, a rough sketch, or even just an idea and turn it into a fully immersive CGI 3D virtual tour. This is ideal for developers, venues, and commercial spaces that want to showcase a building before it’s finished or refurbished.
Here’s how the process works…
We start by reviewing the materials available. This might include photos of the building, floor plans, sketches, or reference images. Even if the space doesn’t exist yet, these inputs help us understand the layout and scale.
Next we work with the client to establish the design style. This could include mood boards, inspiration images, furniture catalogues, or brand guidelines to define the atmosphere of the space.
Our team then produces early 2D visuals and 360 scenes so the client can see how the environment is developing. At this stage feedback is easy and changes can be made quickly.
Once feedback is received, we refine the visuals into the final high-quality scenes that will form the environment of the tour.
The final 360 scenes are assembled into a fully interactive CGI virtual tour or digital twin. We can then enhance it with menus, branding, video, links, sound effects and GA4 analytics to create a powerful interactive experience.
Job done.
What started as a photo and a rough sketch is now a fully navigable digital space that can be shared online, embedded into websites, or used for marketing and presentations.
